Martina and Sonja, cross-dress in vampire capes and werewolf claws, re-enacting familiar horror tropes. A corresponding soundtrack of stock screams and "scary" music suggests that the girls' toying with gender roles and power dynamics may have dire consequences....

The video presents 111 segments of text, single words, and found visual material, still as well as moving images, arranged so as to offer a series of lessons. As an accompaniment to the visual component of the video a composition for piano has been added, emphasizing each constituent segment in a didactic manner....

The title alludes to Denmark’s Law no. 533 of April 29 2015, originating with the Social Democrats, which prohibits sexual conduct between humans and animals (with a few exceptions, such as artificial insemination). The video, however, does not preoccupy itself with “animal sex”, but with mankind’s in a general sense erotic relationship to animals, which appears to play a considerable motivating part in such prohibitions. The found footage and still images, of which the video consists, shows the animal as it is: seen at second hand....

Metamorphosis is a real ballet dance on the rocks, interpreted by a great climber, Patrick Berhault, and set in the picturesque countryside of Cote d'Azur and the Lingurian coast. Berhault's evolutions, in the sea, in the grottoes, on the rocks and precipices, are exceedingly difficult but they are chiefly performed to give the movement an aesthetic value. Matemorphosis is the story of a cycle without words, narrated with gestures and music. The climber Monique Dalmasso also partecipates in the film....

The film is about the deceleration of motion in linear form and speed, establishing a connection between space and love. It ends with high-contrast photos with increasingly drastic color changes. This short film, inspired by Brakhage's Stellar film, was created by manipulating 1750 space photos in Photoshop along with grotesque paintings. Some frames contain black paintings by Francisco Goya, grotesque drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, grotesque engravings by William Blake. In order to refer to Brakhage's poetic style and understanding of storytelling in experimental cinema, two poems by Frank O'Hara and Kenneth Koch are placed in the beginning and end of the film....

A short film collaboration between director Kristian Day and make up artist Patrick Boltinghouse. Patrick had created the make up for Pride Weekend 2010 in Des Moines, Iowa. After the parade, he called Kristian up explaining that he was in make up and had a bird on his shoulder. Kristian's only reply was "I'll get the camera ready". Filmed entire in his home, Kristian made two versions: a single play version and a "locked groove" version which played on a loop at the Resident Artists: Guns Blazin' show on July 9th, 2010 in Des Moines....

Funnel Web Family Refrigerated is a refrigerated version of the 13 minute Funnel Web Family i.e. it lasts longer. Similar to the defrosted version it is a prying look at the creatures that inhabit a home. Shot using an early form of wireless CCTV camera technology it places the viewer in an intense voyeuristic position which at times generates a sense of unease and atmospheric disturbance. However with such horror comes a sense of relief and comfort....
