The colourful characters in this drama include a pair of mimes, a husband trying to chose between his wife and his lover, and a married man who turns to a prostitute for advice....

This film follows the lives of four very different couples as they deal with love, loss and life in these romantic, loosely interconnected tales. A guy who cannot find a job is in a long-term relationship with a wonderful, long-suffering woman who is beginning to grow tired of their situation. An 8-year-old boy desperately misses his busy mom. A deaf girl with a terrible burn on her face falls in love with a painter, dreaming of a perfect love. Love ends so that love can begin again....

Four vignettes, each set in different decades from the 1950s through the 1980s, deal with protagonists at different stages of life between childhood and young adulthood....

Through the intimate stories of seven young directors, October is the generational attitude towards Serbia today, shown in different perspectives and through different genres - from black comedy to melodrama, poetic portrait to the socially engaged horror. Motif that binds all of the stories together is the tenth anniversary of the democratic revolution. Each film is taking place on that day, 5th of October in 2010, and each film is differently related to the anniversary and what that event means 10 years after. The film brings fresh visions of the seven young directors who were teenagers at the time of the overthrow of president Milosevic and his regime. On a personal and emotional way they show a complex picture of modern Serbia....

Episode 1_MIN Yong-geun A young man sits on the steps of an apartment every night. He listens to a college girl coming home without her knowing. A woman who lives in the same building watches the young man every night. Episode 2_LEE Yoo-rim A newlywed couple and another younger couple go to a cabin. The husband tries to have sex with his wife who rejects him every time and he feels strangely attracted to his younger friend's girlfriend. On the day they are supposed to go home, the husband sees the younger couple having sex and feels a pang of jealousy. Episode 3_JANG Hoon Jean-Claude Romer is a well known New York critic who has come to Korea to attend an international film festival. He is quite familiar with Korea and enjoys jangguk and shopping at traditional flea markets, but what he loves most is the ttemiri(scrubbing) culture. Having had a ttemiri session with bath manager Jin-young as usual, he has dinner with her for the first time....

As spring approaches Sang-won starts to feel weak. seg.5) One warm afternoon, Min-jae the chef was taking a nap and Ji-hong woke him up. seg.6) Byeong-goo, a former boxer has been caught in a punch-drunk. Byeong-Gu realizes he doesn't have much time life and starts boxing again....

In this omnibus film series produced by the National Human Rights Commission, Park Jungbum explores relating to the handicapped, Lee Sangcheol and Shin Aga turn their camera on the elderly and Min Youngkeun looks at conscientious objection to military service. In Dear Duhan, Duhan suffers from brain lesions. His friend has always felt bad for Duhan but nonetheless steals an iPad from him one day. Director Park explores the conflict and friendship between a so-called normal and a handicapped person. In Bong-gu on Delivery Shin and Lee tell the tale of an old man who helps a child find his way home, only to be accused of kidnapping. And Min talks about a Jehovah’s Witness who has just been drafted and must say goodbye to his mother in Ice River, a melodrama about a man who chooses to go to prison for his conscientious and religious objections to bearing arms. Having divorced her husband in order not to send her son to prison, his mother cannot accept her son’s choice....

One day, she receives a call at work from a Polish man in Rotterdam, who tells her the story of his missing fiance. Commissioned by South Korea's National Human Rights Commission, If You Were Me is an innovative omnibus film project to promote tolerance and human rights and shed light on the hardships disadvantaged people face in Korea. After the success of the first anthology, a second series, If You Were Me 2, was released this year. Five notable Korean directors - Park Kyung Hee (A Smile), Ryoo Seung Wan (Crying Fist), Jung Ji Woo, Jang Jin (Guns & Talks), and Kim Dong Won - participated in the second installment, creating shorts on human rights issues of their choosing....
