"Faded Color" is an alchemical film created to reprogram the self activation effect made by beauty advertising. It uses repetitive body gestures to deconstruct a woman's body shown in a hair color commercial. Through chemical transformation, it's faded color symbolizes the paradox of beauty. 'It was in San Francisco at a punk festival. I was already high and the air was so thick in the rooms that you could cut it with a knife. I had a photograph camera with me; I stood in a corner of the entrance hall and took 36 pictures on slide film. At home I put the slides into a slide projector. Gei Libao, the former Olunchun hunter raised more than 100 Hunting horses in the traditional way. In a domestic world enlivened with animated dance and mystic poetry (written and read by poet John Coletti), Cynthia finds relief in the healing mineral AION A, discovered by Swiss artist Emma Kunz....
