House of Rock is a satirical animation that aired on the UK's Channel 4 from 2000 to 2002. It revolved around the afterlives of some of the world's most famous dead rock stars, including Freddie Mercury, John Denver, The Notorious B.I.G., Kurt Cobain and Marc Bolan. Bolan was replaced in the second series by John Lennon. Forced to share a house in limbo, they try to cope with isolation, clashing personalities and relentless boredom. The show aired as part of Channel 4's late-night 4 Music. Often, segments of the episode would appear as links between videos, reminiscent of Beavis and Butthead. On average, each episode was 15 minutes long. The characters occupy a huge rundown house in a bleak, depressing landscape with nothing around seemingly for miles. Much of the comedy comes from each character's frustrations with their surroundings, associates and inability to do anything further now they're dead....

På spåret is an original format developed by Ingvar Oldsberg for SVT, and he hosted the show for many years. Author and tennis legend Björn Hellberg was promoted from contestant to permanent Oldsberg sidekick in 1995 after winning for four straight seasons. Famous gourmet, restaurant-owner, and former contestant Carl-Jan Grankvist sat in for Hellberg during the 2004 season. In 2009, after 21 years, Oldsberg left and Kristian Luuk took over as the host. Random Acts of Comedy is an American comedy game show hosted by David Alan Grier. The show was co-created and executive produced by Groundlings alum, John Cervenka. It premiered October 8, 1999, on the Fox Family Channel. Two contestants had to identify "The Who", "The What", and "The Where" in a scene performed by improv actors. For example, the actors could be asked to act out Santa Claus serving hot dogs at a Boy Scout meeting. None of the actors were informed of "The Who", "The What", or "The Where" of each round prior to the show. As each scene was being performed, the contestants could buzz in and identify any of the three elements of the scene for points. After five rounds were played, the contestant with the higher score won a prize package....
